10-14 September the 22nd International Systems and Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2018) will be organized in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Systems and Software Product Line Conference (SPLC) is a premier forum where researchers, practitioners, and educators can present and discuss the most recent ideas, trends, experiences, and challenges in the area of software and system product lines engineering. Conference events include opportunities to hear industry leaders’ real-world experiences and researchers’ latest ideas, and to learn from both.

25-29 September the International Systems and Software Product Line Conference (SPLC 2017) was organized in Sevilla, Spain. The University of Hildesheim participated with the publication "An Empirical Study of Configuration Mismatches in Linux", the University Pierre et Marie Curie participated with the publication "A Catalog of Extractive SPL Adoption Case Studies" and the University of Gothenburg participated with the publication "Challenges and Solutions for Opening Small and Medium-Scale Industrial Software Platforms".

REVE 2017

The 26th of September the 5th International Workshop on Reverse Variability Engineering (REVE 2017) was held in conjunction with SPLC2017 in Sevilla, Spain. Klaus Schmid from the University of Hildesheim gave a keynote talk about "Understanding Linux – pictures from a journey in product line analysis and evolution". KTH & Scania participated in the event with the presentation "Modeling Product-Line Legacy Assets using Multi-Level Theory", Pure Systems participated with the presentation "Reverse engineering challenges of the feedback scenario in co-evolving product lines" and Universidad San Jorge participated with the presentation "Towards Feature Location in Models through a Learning to Rank Approach".

FMICS-AVOCS 2017

18-20 of September KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) participated in the International Workshop on Formal Methods for Industrial Critical Systems and Automated Verification of Critical Systems, FMICS-AVOCS 2017, celebrated in Turin, Italy. The conference was co-located with the 13th International Conference on integrated Formal Methods (iFM 2017). During the workshop, KTH presented the publication "Deductive Functional Verification of Safety-Critical Embedded C-Code: An Experience Report".

MULTI 2017

19 of September KTH & Scania participated in the International Workshop of Multilevel Modelling, MULTI 2017, celebrated in Austin, Texas. The Workshop is part of the ACM/IEEE 20th International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems. During the workshop the publication "Applying Multi Level Modelling to Data Integration in Product Line Engineering" was presented by KTH & Scania.

MSR 2017

On the 20th to 21st of May the University of Antwerp participated in the 14th International Conference on Mining Software Repositories organized in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The University of Antwerp presented the paper "On the differences between unit and integration testing in the TravisTorrent Dataset“. The MSR conference was co-located with ICSE 2017.
